→8.6 cm long → 7.8 cm wide at the root It is a beautiful Megalodon teeth which is like an equilateral triangle (a triangle whose three sides are equal) with dimensions 8.6 cm x 7.8 cm x 7.85 cm. Usually in Megalodon jaw, the teeth becomes smaller and more like equilateral or isosceles triangles as one moved towards the back of the jaw. These teeth are also called posterior teeth. This is not a posterior teeth by strict definition as they are much smaller in height but this teeth is more of starting posterior teeth. Nevertheless, its a unique specimen in its own way. The teeth bends and twists in a unique way towards the top giving is very nice looks. The serration are overall in excellent shape except small amount of material added to the top to protect the teeth. We think there is some re-enforcement material added to root to make it long lasting. The material is added in such a way so as not to alter the shape of the teeth in any way.From another perspective, the root seems to be composed of natural material and no re-enforcement material added to it. Anyhow, it is in robust shape. The root of the teeth is considerable big relative to the size of the teeth and the teeth features a nice bourlette as well. The teeth doesn't sit flat on the surface but its slightly nose up as shown in photos making it very cool. Overall, its a very beautiful teeth in its own way.
