Punkt 102. Islamisk Bronze Ring - Middelalderen 10.-14. århundrede e.Kr. (Ingen mindstepris)
Medieval Bronze Ring – AD 1000 to 1400 – 18x22 mm – 5.19 g
This solid medieval bronze ring features a finely incised circular bezel decorated with a central star motif, surrounded by linear and chevron patterns that may represent stylized foliage or heraldic symbols. Such designs were common during the High to Late Middle Ages and could have held symbolic or protective meaning for the wearer.
The band is slightly thickened near the bezel and tapers gently toward the back, indicating it was cast to balance both durability and comfort. The dark green patina and surface texture suggest extended burial, consistent with authentic archaeological provenance.
