The movement runs very well and keeps accurate time. The crown can be pulled out easily and pushed back in with minimal resistance; this does not affect everyday use, but it is worth noting. The watch features a flawless refinished black dial with an elegant warm gold tone. The dial has applied gold-tone hour markers and distinctive, characterful gold-tone hands with fine ring-shaped details, a true period design feature. Small seconds subdial at the 6 o’clock position. Gold-plated case with signs of wear and visible plating loss in several areas, with slightly more noticeable wear next to the crown. The bezel / crystal retaining ring has a finely textured, knurled-style finish, giving the watch a unique vintage character. Fitted with a new, scratch-free plexiglass crystal. Stainless steel case back. Signed Doxa manual-wind movement.
