Kiyokata Kaburaki (1878–1972)
Born in Tokyo, died in Kanagawa
Japanese-style painter. Real name: Kenichi. Studied under Mizuno Toshikata. Established himself as an illustrator while pursuing authentic Japanese painting. Active as a leading figure in the Taisho art world, he continued painting Tokyo's downtown customs and contemporary beauties throughout his life. Imperial Exhibition judge.
The stamp is carefully affixed to the watch dial.
