The “EOS 70D” was developed for high amateur users who are looking for a step up from entry-level models and for those seeking authentic photographic expression. While the CMOS sensor, imaging engine, and other key devices have been completely redesigned from the previous model “EOS 60D” (released in September 2010), the new “Dual Pixel CMOS AF” AF technology has greatly improved AF performance during live-view shooting and movie shooting.
