This limited edition is the first bottling from the Ardnahoe distillery, which opened in 2018. Cask number 001 of the Ardnahoe Distillery was filled in November 2018. The distillery is located in the northeast of the island and is the ninth whisky distillery on the island.

Powerful peat smoke aromas

Ardnahoe whisky was distilled with soft, peated Islay water from Loch Ardnahoe using two traditional worm tubs. It was made with barley malted in Port Ellen with a phenol content of 40 ppm.

Aroma: Varmt shortbread og bagte æbler suppleret af kraftig tørverøg.

Taste: Cremet vaniljecreme blandes med ingefær-limonadesodavand og nybagte æbletærter.

Aftertaste: Langvarig med stærk røg.
