CONCEPT
I create sculptures that reflect the resilient and transformative forces of the fast-paced modern world and aim to slow down time. I use popular designs and objects as a visual language to convey my narrative. Raw materials and a bold, industrial style invite viewers to reflect on this concept. I encourage the audience to form their own interpretations and connections to the pieces. The physical objects are intended to transport viewers to a place where they can form their own concepts and perspective, whether through seeing connections with their own past, present, and future or by simply appreciating the aesthetics. These sculptures are a tribute to the zeitgeist of the generation I am part of.
