To unikke 3x4" Polaroid’er\nHver især underskrevet på bagsiden\nDe medfølgende provenienspapirer er også underskrevne og bærer studios-stemplet.\nMeget god stand\nIkke udstillet - den ene ligger på sort bogbind og den anden på bomuldspapir\nBegge på museumskarton i arkiv-Mylar-poser\nI arkivboks\nSendt fladt med stiv beskyttelse via registreret post.\n\nPolaroid-materialet er det papirbaserede første generation Polaroid kendt som ’peel-apart’ Polaroid og fås i 10x8", 5x4" og 3x4" formater indtil begyndelsen af 2000’erne, hvor det blev udfaset. Ikke at forveksle med det ’integral’-materiale, som nu fremstilles af Polaroid Originals. Dette er et ’Type 55’-tryk og har belægningen, som blev leveret med filmen. Belægningen var designet til at beskytte det fine sølvbilledet og blev påført umiddelbart efter billedet dukkede op.\n\nMatthew Houston (London 1961) er bedst kendt for Catalogue of Chaos-serien - en dybdegående udforskning af fotografiens materialer og processer. Dette er en af en række Polaroider og sølvgelatine-tryk, der begyndte i slutningen af 1990’erne.\n\n"Matthew Houston studied printmaking at the Central School of Art, London, and later earned a First Class degree in photography from the London College of Printing. He began photographing models, actors, and dancers on a small stage he built while running a cabaret on a sailing ship. This stage was the setting for many of his large-format photographs and Polaroids in the late 1990s. Houston notes that the stage itself suggested the inclusion of a person and acted as a pedestal for his subjects. His photographs are known for their intimate often nostalgic qualities and are the result of an "open experiment" with his subjects. He focuses on finding common ground with the model and capturing what happens naturally. His photographs sometimes include subtle references to mythological figures and paintings.
