Kaliya Ka er blevet genkendelig med de levende billeder af det urbane miljø, de rette og skarpe strukturer i kontorbygningerne, menneskemængden og den lille person i det travle moderne byliv. Det er gennem disse aktiviteter, at hun begynder at opdage naturens nærvær mere dybt i både byen og i den indre verden hos det moderne menneske – i stigende grad i behov af bløde og udsøgte naturformer.
