Elegante mobil antique a cassetti, realizzato in stile Luigi XV – Transizione, databile tra la fine del XIX e l’inizio del XX secolo.

Il mobile presenta una struttura mossa e armoniosa, tipica del gusto francese, con fronte leggermente sagomato e linee morbide. È impreziosito da una raffinata lavorazione a intarsio geometrico e decorativo, realizzata con diverse essenze lignee che creano un effetto visivo ricco e sofisticato.

La facciata è organizzata con cassetti laterali (due per lato) e una parte centrale composta da cassetti, tutti decorati con motivi intarsiati e cornici geometriche. I cassetti sono dotati di maniglie in bronzo dorato finemente cesellate, perfettamente in linea con lo stile dell’epoca.

Il mobile poggia su gambe mosse a sciabola, arricchite da applicazioni in bronzo dorato (sabots), presenti anche sugli angoli superiori e nella parte inferiore centrale, conferendo ulteriore eleganza e pregio.

Il piano superiore è in legno e presenta segni d’uso compatibili con l’età, che testimoniano l’autenticità del pezzo.

Elegant antique chest of drawers, crafted in Louis XV – Transition style, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The piece features a softly shaped structure typical of French design, with a slightly curved front and refined proportions. It is enhanced by fine geometric marquetry, created using different wood veneers to achieve a rich and decorative visual effect.

The front is composed of side drawers (two on each side) and a central section with drawers, all decorated with inlaid motifs and geometric framing. The drawers are fitted with finely chased gilt bronze handles, consistent with the period style.

The cabinet stands on shaped cabriole legs, adorned with gilt bronze mounts (sabots), also present on the upper corners and lower central section, adding elegance and refinement.

The top is wooden and shows signs of use consistent with age, contributing to the authenticity of the piece.

This item is suitable both as a collector’s piece and as a decorative element for classic interiors, antique settings, or even as a statement piece in more modern environments.
