I Cappés statuettens vanvid kan øjet ved første øjekast skue de grundlæggende typer, og sindet kan udlede, gennem sammenligninger, nyttige anvisninger til at afsløre udviklingen i Cappés koroplastik, som er gået fra realistiske udtryk til de såkaldte metafysiske og religiøse: disse forskellige udtryk, selvom de er forskellige i retning, er bundet til en identisk formel trang, og i dette ligger kunstnerens dyd, konsistens og trofasthed over for en bestemt kunstnerisk opfattelse...

Alligevel er Cappés statuetter uovertrufne for livfuldhed og finhed i træk, og hvis nogen har forsøgt at autentificere dem, har dette været et forgæves forsøg, for man kan ikke efterligne Cappé, og faktisk, hvis man sammenligner hans værker med visse forsøg på sofistikering, især dem af en vicensisk iværksætter, men også dem fra andre fabrikker uden samvittighed, kan man straks se, hvor dårlige de falske produkter er i forhold til originalerne....

In the host of Cappé’s statuettes your eye can perceive, at first sight, the basic types and your mind can take, from the comparisons, some useful indications to find out the developments of Cappé’s ceramics, advantaged from the pratical expressions to the so-called metaphysical and religious ones. These many expressions, although being different as for trend, are bound, no one of them excepted, to an identical formal urge and in this the artist’s virtue, consistency and faithfullness to a well defined artistic conception are located...

Anyway Cappé’s statuettes are unsurpassable as for liveliness and delicacy of their features, and if someone has tried to counterfeit them, this attempt has been vain, because Cappé can’t be imitated. In fact if his pieces are compared with some silly doctoring attempt, especially with those ones of a Vicenza-entrepreneur and also with those of other factories lacking in qualms, you can realize immediately how much the false products are of poor quality in comparison with the original ones...
