Dial and Hands
The dial features a spectacular silver sunburst finish that catches the light dynamically, radiating outward from the center pinion. It is adorned with applied, faceted gold-tone baton indices that provide excellent depth and contrast against the metallic surface. The elegant cursive "Seiko Crown" script is printed crisply below the twelve o'clock position, while "DIASHOCK 21 JEWELS" sits above the six o'clock marker. Upon close inspection, the dial surface remains remarkably clean for its age, showing only very faint, localized age spots that do not detract from its overall brilliance. The original gold-tone dauphine hands exhibit visible, honest oxidation and patina, particularly near the center post, which perfectly contextualizes the vintage nature of this timepiece.

Case and Crystal
The 35 millimeter case is constructed with a 20-micron gold plating, as proudly denoted on the caseback. The elegant profile features a thin bezel that maximizes the dial aperture, paired with gracefully sloping lugs. The case shows clear, honest signs of wear consistent with decades of use. Strap
The watch is fitted with a handsome dark brown leather strap featuring a subtle reptilian texture and contrasting gold-tone perimeter stitching. The strap complements the golden tones of the case and dial perfectly, securing to the wrist with a standard gold-tone tang buckle.

This Seiko Crown is presented in good vintage condition. The dial is exceptionally well-preserved with a vibrant sunburst effect, while the hands display attractive, age-appropriate oxidation. The 20-micron gold-plated case exhibits moderate wear, with noticeable rubbing and plating loss on the high contact points and lug edges, presenting an honest and character-rich exterior. The movement is intact and operational.

Dimensions
