Lodatmaleriet blev skabt i år 2000 i forbindelse med projektet „Cocoon at Pigall“ i Zürich. Værket blev dengang personligt givet af kunstneren til den nuværende ejer. Proveniencen er dokumenteret gennem en skriftlig bekræftelse fra Valentin Magaro fra 2025.

Den karakteristiske sorte netstruktur over et intenst lysende gult-, orange- og grøntfarvet felt refererer til kunstnerens særlige billedsprog i denne skabende fase. Værket kan præsenteres både vandret og lodret.

Original painting by Swiss artist Valentin Magaro (*1972).

The work was created in 2000 as part of the artistic environment surrounding the project “Cocoon at Pigall” in Zurich, Switzerland. It was personally gifted by the artist to the current owner. The provenance is supported by a written email confirmation from Valentin Magaro dated 2025.

The composition features an intricate black organic network structure spreading across a luminous background of yellow, orange and green tones. The visual language evokes cellular, botanical and biomorphic forms, characteristic of Magaro’s work from this period.

Executed in acrylic on canvas, the painting demonstrates a strong balance between geometric precision and organic growth. The contrast between the dark linear structure and the vibrant chromatic field creates a sense of depth, tension and movement.
