Beskrivelse fra sælger
Introduction
Offered here is a distinctive Rado DiaStar with the iconic oval case design that made Rado famous for futuristic, durable dress watches. The DiaStar line is well known among collectors for its hard-wearing case concept and its unmistakable 1960s-1970s design language.
Historical & Collector Value
Rado has a strong brand history rooted in material innovation and long-lasting cases. The DiaStar became a signature model for the brand and remains highly recognizable decades later. This particular example stands out with its faceted crystal and diamond-style hour markers, plus the vertical day-date display at 6 o'clock which is a classic collector feature for vintage Rado. Watches with this dial layout and gem-set style markers are sought after due to their period-correct luxury look and the unique presence on the wrist. The oval DiaStar case is also a conversation piece in any collection, especially for collectors who appreciate 1970s Swiss design.
