Beskrivelse fra sælger

The art-loving public always longs for this moment, when the bullfighter performs the pass with the cape and the arena falls silent. Many artists have been inspired by this tradition, because the proximity between the bull and the torero sends shivers down the spine. so much color, so much to appreciate in a moment that can be attempted again and again in works of art of all kinds. This painting is made with loose brushstrokes and others more precise, with speed and with slowness, almost like a salon bullfight, full of nuances, of details and of harmony at the same time. This work is on panel, therefore it is shipped in a cardboard box. We do not ship between July 12 and 18 nor from August 5 to 28.

María Burgaz (1970) knew from a very young age that her thing was art. She began her training at the Escuela de Artes Decorativas in Madrid, and earned a Fine Arts degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the Painting specialty in 1993. Later she completed her studies at FIT in New York.
Winner of competitions such as the Wellington Foundation, Professional Football Foundation, Women and Society, Iberdrola-UEX, UNED, Eugenio Hermoso, Gran Casino de Torrelodones… her work, in addition to belonging to the collections of these institutions, also appears in those of municipalities such as Gibraleón, Valdemoro, Martos, Horche, Diputación de Alicante…
She has held dozens of solo and group exhibitions both in Spain and abroad, and her work is also in numerous private collections around the world.
Her hardworking and enthusiastic disposition has led her to participate in all kinds of projects and to collaborate with designers, writers and anything that allows her to express everything inside her. Her work always reveals the stage she is living, her vitality and her particular sense of humor and approach to life, always with mastery of techniques that she combines and juxtaposes to create unique paintings of great narrative and technical richness.
Her works always include a certificate of authenticity and when they are on canvas they are shipped rolled in a rigid tube for greater safety.
