Dial and Hands
The dial is a masterclass in subtle texture, featuring a brilliant vertically brushed silver finish that plays beautifully with the light. It is in exceptionally clean condition, completely free of spotting, moisture marks, surface scratches, or discoloration. The hour markers are applied, faceted baton indices with polished steel edges and black inserts, providing excellent contrast and legibility. The applied Omega logo and crisp black typography remain perfectly intact, with the "- SWISS MADE -" designation clearly printed at the bottom. The original black baton hands are beautifully preserved, featuring intact central lume strips that have aged to a warm, even creamy hue, perfectly consistent with the watch's age.

Case and Crystal
The 25mm stainless steel case exhibits a striking octagonal tonneau profile, characteristic of Omega's late 1970s integrated designs. The case remains in excellent vintage condition, retaining sharp, well-defined lug profiles and distinct transitions between the brushed top surfaces and the polished chamfered edges. Honest, light handling marks consistent with careful vintage wear are present, but the case geometry remains entirely uncompromised. The right flank features the correct recessed push-button crown used for setting the Caliber 1387 movement. The flat crystal is clear and well-preserved, showing no distracting scratches or chips. The snap-on stainless steel caseback is a highlight, featuring a deeply engraved and incredibly crisp Constellation observatory medallion surrounded by eight stars, while the interior is correctly stamped with the Omega triangle, "ACIER INOXYDABLE", and the dual reference numbers 595.0007 and 795.0804.

Movement
Powering this Constellation is the Omega Caliber 1387, a high-quality 6-jewel Swiss quartz movement that exemplifies Omega's technical prowess during the era. The movement plate is cleanly stamped with the Omega logo, caliber designation, and the serial number 42292812, which accurately dates the production of this timepiece to 1979. The movement presents cleanly upon visual inspection, with all visible circuitry, plates, and the stepping motor appearing well-maintained and undisturbed.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original period-correct integrated stainless steel flat-link bracelet.
