Collector's Fact: The entire Steep Tech line was originally designed in 1991 in close collaboration with extreme skiing pioneer Scot Schmidt. It marked the first time in The North Face history that a clothing line was built from the ground up alongside a professional athlete. Schmidt required gear that could hold tools and withstand brutal backcountry descents, defining this unique, feature-heavy technical look.

This jacket was released as part of the official, highly limited collaboration between Supreme and The North Face for the Spring/Summer 2016 (SS16) season. It serves as a modern, technologically upgraded tribute to that iconic era.
