◉ Condition

This is a Japanese-made Squier SST-39 FAS Stratocaster, manufactured circa 1993–1994.

Sound output has been tested and confirmed. However, the tone potentiometer is faulty, and the tone control is currently not functioning. Repair or replacement of the tone potentiometer is recommended.

The frets show considerable signs of use and are estimated to have approximately 60% remaining.

The guitar has a wood-fibre composite body covered with a decorative photo-flame sheet. Due to the known ageing characteristics of this type of finish, extensive cracking, peeling and lifting of the photo-flame covering can be seen throughout the body.

There are also numerous scratches, scuffs, marks and signs of age across the body, neck and hardware. Some areas show discolouration caused by age and sunlight, while the metal parts have tarnishing and partial corrosion.

This instrument is offered in player’s condition rather than collector-grade condition. Please inspect all photographs carefully before bidding, as they form an important part of the description. There may also be very small scratches or imperfections that are difficult to capture clearly in photographs.

The neck appears to be almost straight, with no significant bow observed during the inspection. However, the instrument has not undergone a professional setup, and adjustment may be required according to the buyer’s playing preference.

The back tremolo cavity cover, tremolo arm and case are not included.
