Vintage Scandinavian Adjustable Swivel Stool – Solid Pine – 1960s

Characterful vintage swivel stool in Scandinavian mid-century modern style, most likely made in Sweden during the 1960s.

The stool is crafted entirely from solid pine and features a striking handcrafted construction with three splayed legs, traditional wooden joints and a substantial central threaded column. By rotating the seat, the height can be adjusted.

The beautifully shaped seat and pronounced wood grain give the piece a warm and sculptural appearance. Thanks to its versatile design, it can be used as a stool, piano stool, studio seat, plant stand, workshop stool or decorative side table.

The stool is in good original vintage condition and has developed a beautiful, authentic patina. The seat and frame show age-related signs of use and minor imperfections, consistent with its age and adding to its character. The wood has been carefully cleaned and polished.

The swivel mechanism functions properly and keeps the seat securely at the desired height.
