This is the original ALPS (Japan) Battery Operated Television Spaceman from approximately 1959–1961, complete with its original illustrated box and inner inserts. The robot is one of the iconic early Japanese TV-screen robots and is considerably more desirable than later Horikawa or Yonezawa TV robots.

Considering operation confirmed, original antenna, original battery door, original box, inserts present, complete appearance, average box wear similar TV Robot examples are documented by museums and collectors.
