Statuette - reclining child - Koldmalet bronze

Charming antique hand-painted cast metal figure depicting a reclining child in a relaxed pose.

The figure is believed to be of Austrian origin and comes from a private collection. According to the previous owner, it dates from the early 20th century.

The piece retains its old painted surface with extensive authentic wear, paint loss and patina. These traces of age give the figure its distinctive character and decorative appeal and are an important part of its antique appearance. The object has not been restored or repainted.
