Artist Information
Koji Kasatani (født 1964) er en japansk kunstner.
Efter at have afsluttet kunstskole i Firenze, Italien, studerede han italienske keramiske teknikker.
Efter at være vendt tilbage til Japan begyndte han at udfordre sig selv for at skabe værker, der gik ud over keramikkens grænser.
Da han fandt nogle bananrester i køkkenet, som var hans fars yndlingsfrugt, blev han overbevist om, at dette var kunst, og siden da har han lavet bananinspirerede værker i omkring 18 år.
