Danmark – 100 Kroner 1943, Danmarks Nationalbank, P-33d, Svendsen/Neergaard, Serie B 8064592

Danish 100 Kroner banknote dated 1943, issued by Danmarks Nationalbank, serial number B 8064592, Heilmann Type III, catalogued as Pick P-33d / Sieg 111 / DOP 126. The note bears the Svendsen / Neergaard signature combination associated with this 1943 issue.

Printed in brown, ochre and pale green tones, the banknote measures approximately 158 × 100 mm. The front displays the inscriptions “DANMARK” and “HUNDREDE KRONER”, the date 1943, serial number and signatures, surrounded by elaborate vegetal ornamentation. The opposite side is dominated by the crowned Danish royal coat of arms, flanked by two allegorical figures and large “100” denominations, within an intricate composition designed by Gerhard Heilmann.

The banknote belongs to the Heilmann Type III series issued during the late 1930s and early 1940s. The 1943 issue represents the P-33d variety. The serial number, signatures, denomination and principal design elements remain clearly legible, with the fine engraved detail still well preserved.

Circulated condition, with a pronounced central vertical fold, additional horizontal and vertical folds, light surface soiling and age-related toning, several small spots near the upper margin, edge wear and folded corners. No major areas of paper loss are visible. The design, inscriptions, serial number and signatures remain complete and clearly readable.
