Anna Bila - Open Center - XL

Part of the Living Stones series, this work explores the relationship between connection and open space. Fluid organic forms in coral, pink, orange and subtle yellow-green gather around an exposed center, where the raw canvas becomes an active part of the composition. Pigments soak directly into the unprimed cotton, creating translucent layers, soft transitions and delicate traces of their movement.

Anna Bila is an Ukrainian artist whose work explores themes of childhood, adolescence, memory, and the perception of the past — not as something static, but as something continuously reinterpreted through the lens of the present.
