The Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 EX DG Aspherical was, at its 2003 launch, one of the widest rectilinear zoom lenses ever made for full-frame SLR cameras, covering an astonishing 122-degree angle of view at 12mm without the distortion of a fisheye. Its four SLD glass elements and dual aspherical lenses were engineered to keep straight lines straight even at the extreme wide end, making it a favourite among landscape and architecture photographers. This example is the Minolta/Sony A-mount version, ready to bring dramatic wide-angle perspective to any compatible SLR or DSLR body.
