These are very old banknotes issued in Japan during the Edo period..
Called "Han-Fuda 藩札"

The Edo period was unified by the “Tokugawa clan”. Therefore, there is naturally a common currency. However, the unique banknotes of local “Han 藩” were also often used in those days. Many were issued on the occasion of financial difficulties. After the Meiji era, “Han-Fuda 藩札” were banned.

◆南都 Nanto
In the Edo period, “Nanto” was an old name (alternative name) for Nara (present-day Nara City, Nara Prefecture); when this term appears on banknotes, it refers to local currencies issued in the Nara area or promissory notes (old banknotes) issued by temples, shrines, and merchants.

◆銀壱匁 Gin Ichi-Monme
“Gin Ichi-monme” was a unit of weight for silver in the Edo period, equivalent to approximately 3.75 grams. In modern units of weight, 1 monme is 3.75 grams. In the Edo period, one “Han-Fuda 藩札” was equivalent in value to 3.75 grams of silver.


These are old and have some stains and tears. However, the illustrations and text are decipherable.
