Beskrivelse fra sælger

Holmegaard, Per Lütken – Sæt af 3 blå glas-skåle, inklusive matchet Menuet-par – Danmark, Midten af 1900-tallet
Description:
A set of three hand-blown blue glass bowls from Holmegaard, the historic Danish glassworks, all designed by Per Lütken – chief designer at Holmegaard from 1942 until his death in 1998.

Two of the three pieces belong to Holmegaard's Menuet series: a heart-shaped design created by Lütken in 1955 and produced in numerous sizes and several colours over more than three decades. Both pieces here carry etched Holmegaard / Per Lütken markings to the base, with the slight size variation between them typical of hand-blown glass.
One of the Menuet pieces additionally carries an unusual screen-printed eagle emblem on the body. This decoration is particularly interesting, as such applied motifs are not commonly encountered on Per Lütken's Menuet pieces.

The third and largest piece is a wider, oval freeform bowl in the same blue glass, from the same family of organic Lütken designs for Holmegaard; its base carries his signature and production number.

Dimensions: Menuet vaser approx. 10 × 8 × 7 cm each; large bowl approx. 16 × 13 × 7 cm
Weight: 513 g and 455 g (Menuet vases); 958 g (large bowl) — 1,926 g combined.
Condition: good vintage condition; no chips, cracks or repairs.
