Beskrivelse fra sælger
The 3000 Series is a Heuer design, not a TAG one.
It first appeared in the 1984 Heuer catalogue — a full year before Techniques d'Avant Garde acquired the company in 1985. What you are looking at was drawn by the firm that gave the world the Carrera, the Monaco on Steve McQueen's wrist, and decades of Formula 1 timekeeping. The line ran for roughly five years before being retired, one of the shortest production runs in the brand's history.
Its DNA is still in production. The screw-down crown, the notched uni-directional bezel, the applied markers, the 200-metre rating — all of it carries forward into the modern Aquaracer. This is where that watch comes from.
The design holds up because it was solved rather than styled. The bezel's twelve-sided grip is cut to be turned with wet hands. The markers are applied and lumed in three distinct shapes — round, oval, triangle — so the dial can be read at a glance in poor light without being read at all. The crown is guarded and screws down. Nothing on the watch is there for decoration, and the result is a face that has aged better than almost anything else made in 1984.
This is a TAG HEUER Professional 200m 3000, model 934.213, gold-tone quartz men's wristwatch.
It is currently running, but as it is a used item, it is being sold as-is.
