The lighthouse becomes more than a physical presence — a beacon almost dissolved into color, a memory of a light that continues to exist even when we can no longer clearly see its source.
Layers of blue, turquoise, violet and warm accents create a space between reality and memory. The light does not disappear; it transforms into an inner light, preserved within us through hope.
Memory of Light speaks of what remains when everything around us seems to drift away: a beacon, a memory, and the hope that the light can be found again.

The work is an original abstract painting, manually crafted in acrylic on canvas, measuring 50 x 70 cm, using professional-quality acrylic colors. The size is balanced, neither aggressive nor too small, allowing the space to breathe and the work to be perceived as a unique object.

ARTISTIC PROFILE CRISTINA TALEA

Cristina Talea is a visual artist, architect, and scenographer whose creative practice explores the relationship between emotion and structure.
Her works combine the sensitivity developed through her early fine arts education with the discipline of architectural thinking. Texture, color, and atmosphere play a central role in her visual language, while rhythm, balance, and composition provide a strong structural foundation.
Drawing from visual arts, architecture, and scenography, she creates works situated between fiction, nostalgia, and the tangible world. Memory, place, and atmosphere are recurring themes, transformed into layered compositions that invite contemplation rather than direct interpretation.
By merging intuition with structure, her works create visual spaces where the imagined and the real coexist, balancing sensitivity and strength, reflection and presence.

Excellence Award at the First National Visual Arts Salon 2026, organized by the Bucharest Association of Visual Artists, Romania.
Most recently, her work was presented at MOBU – International Modern & Contemporary Art Fair Bucharest 2026

Her works have been acquired for private collections in Romania, Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland, Austria, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

SCENOGRAPHY, ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN
Designed and delivered over 300 television sets for studio and stage productions, while developing high-end residential architecture and interior design projects.
This multidisciplinary experience shaped a refined understanding of scale, light, spatial composition, and the relationship between artwork and architectural space.
