Description:

The Longines Flagship was introduced in 1957 as one of the brand's most important dress lines, recognisable by the caravel emblem on the case back of the men's models and the elegant 'Flagship' script on the dial. Ladies' versions followed in compact sizes with slim manual-winding movements.

This example has a small round stainless steel case with a domed crystal, and a silver dial with applied baton markers, slim hands, the Longines winged-hourglass signature at twelve and the Flagship script at six, with 'Swiss Made' at the base.

The case back is engraved 'STAINLESS STEEL' with the case number 16 / 970654. The seller records the case as stainless steel; the watch is fitted with a brown leather strap with a gold-tone buckle.

With a case width of approximately 17 mm, it is a delicate vintage ladies' Longines, of interest to collectors of the Flagship line.

The watch is supplied on its own; no box, manual, or warranty card is included.
