This Herzfeld Skin Diver is in Grade B condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its vintage character.
The chrome plated case presents scratches, marks and areas of plating wear, particularly around the lugs and case edges.
The silver dial shows natural signs of ageing, including light spotting, marks and patina. The green numerals and indexes remain clearly visible, while the contrasting red accents retain much of their visual character.
The rotating bezel shows significant age-related patina, discoloration and surface wear. These signs are consistent with the age of the watch and contribute to its authentic vintage appearance.

The Skin Diver represents one of the most recognizable categories of recreational watches to emerge during the expansion of underwater sports in the 1950s and 1960s.
Unlike heavier professional diving instruments, skin-diver watches were generally designed as relatively compact, lightweight timepieces for recreational swimming, snorkeling and skin diving.
