The damage must be reported to your local post office within 7 days of delivery, and promptly to us and Catawiki support. ・Please note that obtaining the necessary export permit for this antique samurai armor typically takes about one month, so please plan accordingly. 【Product details】 This exceptional set of Japanese armor dates back to the late Muromachi period (1550 - 1573) or Later and is signed by the renowned armorer Myōchin Nobuie 明珍信家 on the inside of helmet (The helmet bears a signature, but the other armor components do not.), who was hailed as the greatest armorer of Japan during his time. Myōchin Nobuie, a master of the ribbed helmet, was highly celebrated, and his works are considered cultural treasures. This particular set features a top-tier 38-plate ribbed helmet with a crescent-shaped forecrest, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship associated with the Myōchin school. The armor includes several components designed for full-body protection: the helmet, ｍenpo face mask and neck guard, shoulder guards, body armors, arm protectors, thigh guards, knee protectors, and shin guards. Due to its age, the armor displays signs of wear, including scratches, tears, chips, frayed and broken threads, discoloration, and rust on the helmet and face mask. The lacing on the helmet is cut in places, and the antler crest is loose and may fall off when moved. The shoulder sleeves' laces are broken, and they are placed loosely for the photographs. The wooden storage box shows significant damage and wobbles slightly, so while the armor can still be displayed as is, it is recommended for someone who is capable of performing repairs. Please note that the armor stand is not included and the helmet does not fit in the wooden box. The armor will likely be shipped in two packages via FedEx or EMS.
