Authentic Roman Empire Coin – Constantine I “the Great” (AD 306–337)
A beautiful AE Nummus struck at the renowned Antioch mint between AD 335 and 337, dating to the final years of the reign of Constantine the Great, one of the most influential rulers of the Roman Empire.
Obverse: CONSTANTI-NVS MAX AVG – Fine portrait of Constantine facing right, wearing a rosette-diadem, with detailed drapery and cuirass.
Reverse: GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS – Classic military type featuring two soldiers standing opposed, helmeted and armored, each holding a reversed spear and resting a hand on a shield; between them, a legionary standard. Listed as RIC VII 108.
The coin is preserved in high quality, with sharp details and clear inscriptions.
