Miriam Chiera - Nomadic Interactions. NO RESERVE. XXL

Series: interaction In this series, the artist talks about human relationships, the different paths we take in our lives, the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, religions, new places and languages that we can learn and that help us grow as human beings. Having lived in different cities around the world teaches us not to be afraid of the unknown, to be malleable, to adapt to changes, because we are all different but we must manage to live together in peace. Human interaction is not just an exchange of stimuli and responses, but a dynamic process where each action influences the next. This continuous cycle not only reflects our social nature, but also shapes our identity. The stimuli we receive generate immediate responses, but also leave traces in our memory, shaping our personality and our way of relating to the world. Thus, interaction becomes the stage where who we are is built. As shape and color come together, their interactions develop as playful conversations, where the elements vibrate with each other and settle into a visual harmony. Each composition achieves a balance accentuated by the range of scale and distribution, creating a constant but synchronized flow. By breaking down the parts to form a whole, the artist's work reveals how the elements communicate through a dynamic and active visual language. In these pieces, shapes and lines intertwine in a dance with color, creating a captivating visual balance. -Instagram: @miriamchiera https://www.miriamchiera.com/ Videos of the work available on my website or my Instagram. Biography: Miriam Chiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy. She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color. Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling. Miriam’s works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events. 2017 – Selected for the Biennial of Fine Arts, Friends of Art, Ceres, Argentina. 2019 – XII Salvador Massa Regional Painting Salon, Argentina. 2019 – Finalist in the 3rd Painting Contest, 56th Anniversary Fundación 25 de Junio, Rosario, Argentina. 2019 – Selected for the 66th National Annual Exhibition of Arts, Ceres, Argentina. 2019 – Finalist at the XXIII Spring Hall, Museum of Visual Arts, Santa Fe, Argentina. 2019 – Finalist at the Regional Annual Exhibition of Artists, Museum H. Borla, Esperanza, Argentina. 2020 – Finalist at the XXIV Spring Hall, Municipal Museum of Visual Arts, Argentina. 2021 – Finalist at the XXVI Spring Hall, Santa Fe, Argentina. 2023 – Participant in Chorlton Arts Festival, Manchester, United Kingdom. Her works are part of private collections around the world. Today she lives in Senigallia, Italy, after traveling through many cities: Milan, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Rosario and her hometown, Ceres. Each place has left its mark on her art, shaping the vision and expression that flows through her work. Artist Statement: A work of art is far more than a fashionable object, a fleeting trend, or a decorative element designed to solve a spatial issue. I create paintings with the hope that they become a window through which you can tell yourself a story-where the art interacts with your life in a meaningful way. Each piece carries its own imprint, a soul, an energy that transforms it into a living presence within your space. My aspiration is for my art to move you, to evoke a desire to possess it, to immerse yourself in its essence, and to enjoy its company each morning as you stand before it.
