An aventurine quartz small turtle bead talisman from the ancient Sino-Siberian or Bactrian culture.
First Millennium AD or older .
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand and repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting,carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Brussels by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
