The history goes back to 1860, but in 1984 Baron Patrick de Ladoucette also became owner here. The winery has the most Grand Crus and Premiers Crus in all of Chablis. There are many Premiers Crus in Chablis, but there are only seven Grand Crus. Maison Régnard owns vines on all these Grand Crus and also markets wines from these vines every year. In short, the winery has a beautiful collection of Chablis. Chablis is surely the ultimate comfort zone of Chardonnay. That's because it thrives here in a perfect terroir with an extremely suitable microclimate and a soil full of lime.
