For every lover of St. Tropez, this is absolutely beautiful and rare Hermés Scarf full of nostalgic charm. Designed by Philippe Dauchez in 1960, this piece is the 1970 reissue, identifiable by the updated «  Hermés Paris » logo and added copyright mark. The scene captures the essence of the St. Tropez harbour life, with a remarkable detail: the navigation buoy in the top, right corner already shows the West IALA top mark, which wouldn’t be adopted globally until the late 1970s- proof of France ahead -of-the - curve maritime knowledge. A rare and wonderful piece of Hermés history. There are some signs of wear on the fabric : see photos. The scarf is 55 years old.
