Oldtidens Grækenland Guld Lille granatæbletype vedhæng (Ingen mindstepris)

A fine ancient Greek gold amulet reminiscent of a pomegranate head. The pendant’s globular body rests on a cylindrical base, possibly representing petals. There is a loop at the top for suspension. Glue residue around the loop but no evidence of repair. Minor wear as consistent with its age, such as scratches. Please note, this is a small bead. Measurements provided below. The ancient Greek motif of pomegranates represents the promise of renewal, prosperity, and the eternal cycle of life. Crafted in the likeness of the sacred fruit associated with the goddess Persephone, it reflects a timeless blend of beauty and meaning. Its elegant form and historical significance make it a striking piece for anyone who loves myth, history, or refined artistry. Measurements: (circa) H 0.6cm x W 0.3cm Weight: 0.21g Provenance: Ex Japanese private collection, deceased, 1970-2010. N.B. Delivery may be longer due to the busier period and we do not guarantee delivery before Christmas. Items paid for after the 19th December will be shipped after the New Year (week commencing on the 5th January 2026). **There will be an additional fee incurred for returned shipments due to buyer’s non-response to customs enquiries and/or unsuccessful delivery attempts.**
