Movement This watch is powered by a one-jewel R. Lapanouse manual-wind movement, recently regulated and keeping accurate time. Although technically a chronograph, this model is sometimes referred to as a “lap timer.” The upper subdial tracks 45-minute intervals, while the lower subdial records up to 6 hours. Before operation, the time must be manually set to exactly 12 o’clock, with the seconds hand also aligned at 12. Both chronograph registers will then be in the zero position. Pressing the top pusher starts the timing mechanism, and pressing the lower pusher stops it. Timing continues until the lower pusher is activated.
