Fill level, seal and label all in excellent condition.
This rum was distilled in 1992 in a four column still by Alcoholes del Istmo. Tropical aging of 25 years in bourbon barrels followed by continental aging of 1,5 years in cognac barrels. It was matured in Teeling Whiskey barrels for 6 months before being bottled at 51.1% ABV. No added sugar.
Scent: fruity nose of oranges and blackcurrants as well as ripe apples. Followed by mediate spicy notes with fine notes of dark chocolate and herbs..
Taste: similar to the scent, but more spicy profile of cloves followed by cinnamon, apricot, vanilla and lemon. A nice complex taste with a finish of woody and spicy notes.
