A robust, well-defined heavy-duty scraper/chopper made from dense iron jasper. The piece shows clear human workmanship: a controlled series of large removals forming a functional cutting/scraping edge, secondary retouch along the working side, and a natural ergonomic grip fitting comfortably into the hand. The tool carries a large, smooth central inclusion typical for iron-rich jasper nodules. The working edge displays micro-use rounding consistent with scraping or chopping activities on bone or wood. These strong utilitarian tools are associated with early human groups of the Lower–Middle Paleolithic, used for heavy processing tasks such as bone breaking, wood shaping and large-animal processing.
