Giclée print on canvas, using high-quality pigment-based printing for faithful reproduction of details and colors. Limited edition of 10 copies, individually numbered, this being number one of 10. Dimensions: 40 x 40 cm. Delivered ready to be framed. Titled, "Le Petit Prince" (The Little Prince) Le Yack has created this image from the classic novella written and illustrated by French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, first published in 1943. The story is a philosophical fable that follows a young prince who visits various planets, including Earth, and explores themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss through the eyes of a child, making observations about life and human nature. Alexandre Pelletier, alias "Le Yack", was born in 1972 in Tours. He trained at the School of Art and Design (ESAD) in Orléans, taking much of his inspiration from pop art. Le Yack brings a contemporary look to his creations by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by bright colors, dynamic shapes and expressive compositions. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual universes, by merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques. He is an artistic director in publishing and the web: Instagram @leyack45. His works are exhibited in a network of around forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium and the United States and he has global appeal.
