Bought 'Floating Soul' bij A. Caprí from Catawiki. Subtle colours with intricate lines reveal new details as light changes. Beautiful in my living room. Arrived wel packaged and as described.

Hartung was a great painter for me, I studied him and saw some of his works live, to say that he used a fork is an understatement, he built his own tools.  As far as my pictorial research is concerned, the concept of engraved sign is understood as a primordial, free, unconstrained act, which refers to the inner light.  Unlike Hartung my engraved sign is put into a different context in terms of surface and tonal vibration.  I study the color and cut of the composition. My tools are scraper knives, rubber erasers, etc… Thanks again for your interest
