During minting, coins are subjected to high dynamic loads, which sometimes causes damage in the form of cracks or even chips. Friction between the surfaces of the dies and the coin blank causes gradual wear of the dies. Contrary to appearances, mint destructed pieces are highly sought after by collectors because their uniqueness makes them interesting and often very valuable due to their rarity and exceptionality. Reverse of this coin: A leak in the central ring, with visible internal gaps. Three wide internal grooves in the shape of a rectangle, struck by the die on the central core of the coin. All grooves and crevices were created by the press's movement and the enormous pressure of minting. The numeral 2 is damaged, and the map of Europe is misshapen and incomplete. The edge of the coin is distorted. The 6 stars and 6 vertical lines above the EURO inscription are distorted. The EURO inscription is distorted. The obverse of this coin: the central ring is leaking, and the stars on the outer edge are misshapen. During minting, coins are subjected to high dynamic loads, which sometimes causes damage in the form of cracks or even chips. Friction between the surfaces of the dies and the coin blank causes gradual wear of the dies. Contrary to appearances, mint destructed pieces are highly sought after by collectors because their uniqueness makes them interesting and often very valuable due to their rarity and exceptionality.

Reverse of this coin:

A leak in the central ring, with visible internal gaps. Three wide internal grooves in the shape of a rectangle, struck by the die on the central core of the coin. All grooves and crevices were created by the press's movement and the enormous pressure of minting. The numeral 2 is damaged, and the map of Europe is misshapen and incomplete.

The edge of the coin is distorted. The 6 stars and 6 vertical lines above the EURO inscription are distorted. The EURO inscription is distorted.

The obverse of this coin: the central ring is leaking, and the stars on the outer edge are misshapen.

The set of triangles surrounding the treaty (open book) is incomplete, and some triangles are damaged.
