Hands: Gold-plated. Movement: A. Lange & Söhne used a Swiss movement manufactured by Alpina as the base, a company with which they cooperated during that period of their activity. By extensively modifying this movement, Lange & Söhne applied their own technical and horological expertise, effectively rebuilding the entire heart of the watch. The movement was upgraded with a gold escape wheel, gold pallet fork, and balance, components characteristic of Lange & Söhne craftsmanship. The original Swiss components were replaced with German-made parts, reflecting Lange & Söhne’s engineering philosophy and standards.
