The stamp has a face value of 35p and bears a postmark inscribed "STAFFA SCOTLAND The car depicted is a Bentley 4½ Litre (also known as the "Blower Bentley" in its supercharged version), which was a dominant racing car of its time. The image is part of an illustration showing the car in a dynamic racing scene. Since Staffa has no official postal service, these stamps are known as Cinderella stamps or "local carriage labels."
