​Elegant Antique Longines Pocket Watch – Grand Prix Paris 1900
​An exceptional and beautifully preserved solid silver pocket watch by the renowned Swiss manufacture Longines, dating back to approximately 1903 based on its serial number. This timekeeper features the highly celebrated "Grand Prix Paris 1900" prize medallions engraved on the inner cuvette, highlighting Longines' historical mastery in horology.
​Condition Report & Details:
​Dial: Crisp, authentic white enamel dial in excellent condition featuring classic black Arabic numerals, an outer minutes track, and a sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock. Paired with elegant, original gold-tone hands. As shown in photos the dial presents beautifully with no distracting flaws.
​Movement: A high-grade, in-house Longines mechanical manual-wind movement (Caliber 18.89 family). It features beautiful traditional wavy bridge texturing (fausses côtes) and is signed "LONGINES" alongside the matching serial number 1162422The movement is running, with the regulator set between Avance/Retard.
​Case: Crafted from solid 0.800 silver, fully hallmarked with the Swiss "Grouse" silver stamp and the "EFCo Longines" winged hourglass logo .
The outer case back features an elegant, clean guilloché pattern centering a stylized monogram shield The inner dust cover (cuvette) proudly displays the beautifully detailed engraving of the 1900 Paris World's Fair grand prize medals.
All hinges close firmly.
