This beautifully restored classic Jaguar exudes sophistication, power, and vintage charm. Bodywork and Paint The bodywork of this Jaguar is in excellent overall condition, showcasing smooth, elegant lines with no visible dents, scratches, or signs of corrosion. The deep royal blue paintwork presents a rich, uniform gloss, reflecting a high-quality restoration and meticulous upkeep. There are no visible traces of rust or previous accident damage, and the car’s panels align correctly, indicating precise craftsmanship. All chrome components, including the front grille, bumpers, headlight rims, mirrors, and trim, are in exceptional condition, free from pitting or tarnish, and display a brilliant shine. The rubber seals around doors, windows, and the convertible top appear supple and well-preserved, with no cracking or shrinkage visible. Headlights, taillights, and lenses are clear and functional, showing no fogging or damage. Likely due to time and exposure, the rear window of the soft top displays some signs of aging and deterioration along the edges of the glass. The silvering appears to have faded or peeled in certain areas, likely due to time and exposure. The convertible top supports are in very good overall condition, showing only light patina consistent with age. No previous welding repairs, and the structure appears solid with no visible areas that would require future welding or reinforcement. The original tool kit neatly housed in its factory-fitted compartment on the inside of the boot lid its in excellent condition but unfortunately the original tools are incomplete. Interior Condition The interior reflects the same level of care and refinement as the exterior. The seats are upholstered in light dove grey leather and are in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of use, like a tiny scratch in the side of the drivers seat or some small wear near the pedals. The edges of the floor mats show also signs of use, consistent with gentle wear over time. The dashboard and door panels are finished in beautiful polished wood, well-maintained and free from cracks or fading. The convertible roof lining and frame are in good condition but in the area where the hood clips attach to the body the painting is scratched from use. The instrument panel and gauges are fully operational. And with the exception of the center of the steering wheel that is a bit "dented" from its age (it is the original piece) all dials and switches are intact. The electrical system is in good working order: indicators, lights, and other controls function properly. The ventilation system operate as intended, with no known faults The upholstery has been professionally restored to maintain authenticity and comfort. Technical Condition: The engine is in excellent condition, with no signs of oil or fluid leaks. It runs smoothly and quietly, showing strong compression and immediate throttle response. All the parts look new showing that everything was meticulously restored The gearbox shifts precisely and effortlessly. The braking system performs effectively and evenly, providing safe and predictable stopping power. The tires are in good condition but show some occasional black blurs on the white part. but the grip looks in perfect shape. Both the belts and clutch have been recently serviced and operate smoothly without any abnormal noises. The car has been restored but we got it already in this mint condition so we don´t have the invoices. The engine starts easily “on the first try”. Documentation This Jaguar holds official certification from the CPAA (Clube Português de Automóveis Antigos) and the Museu do Caramulo, attesting to its authenticity and historical value.
