Complete two volumes set by the author of Dracula
First edition in two volumes of a biography of one of the most famous actors (and theatre managers) of Victorian Britain, Henry Irving; written by the author of Dracula, Bram Stoker. Illustrated with frontispieces protected by original tissue guards, and 17 tipped-in photographs plates, and illustrations to each volume. Published by William Heinemann, London, 1906. Publisher’s original full red cloth with gilt portrait of Irving stamped to front boards, and gilt lettering to spines.

Condition
Covers are faded and marked, with wear to boards’ corners, and edges, and rubbing to head and foot of spines. Internally; the books are in good condition. Inscriptions with pencil on top front free endpaper pages of both volumes. Light foxing on free endpaper pages, and on some other pages throughout. All illustrations are present and in nice condition (Please see pictures).
