2007 Chateau La Serre - Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé - 6 Bottles (0.75L)
6 bottles of Chateau La Serre 2007 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé.
They were taken from the original wooden case of 12 (wooden case is not included).
Chateau La Serre is located near the city center of Saint-Emilion and in the same area as well-known Chateau's such as Pavie Macquin, Troplong Mondot, La Couspaude etc.
The bottles come straight out of the (closed) original wooden case. There are pictures added to illustrate this.
It was in 1956 that Bernard d'Arfeuille decided to buy the beautiful property of Château La Serre, perched on the heights of Saint-Emilion and very famous for its terroir, limestone plateau with starfish, which produces wines of a finesse extreme.
This passion is naturally inherited by his eldest son, Luc d'Arfeuille. It is for him, not a completion, but the starting point of an ambition: that of continuing to better express this terroir.
Thus, inspiring a long renovation work undertaken on the property at the end of the 1970s, Luc d'Arfeuille managed to place the production of his vineyard in the leading group of the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion. The single bottles will be shipped in a wine packaging which is designed to prevent bottle damage. `
